Our Ident

This is our Production company that we chose and we worked on it using livetype.

location and pictures

We went out and took pictures of the location that we are going to be filming in.

These are two pictures of the location we decided to film at. As you can see it is dark which is good fro the film.

The Art of the Title Research

I looked at the title sequence of Max Payne and i noticed that they did there pictures based on the film. That film is about killing so they used guns and close ups of that gun. They even showed the little detail of the bullet and the gun. They also used a lot of red maybe suggesting blood of the victims they killed.

Research into the conventions of the genre

I looked into the genre, to see what makes a good thriller and i noticed that most of them have car chases, fights and deadly weapons. Also they always have a twist in the story line to make it more interesting than it is.

Name of our film

Because of our story line we decided to call it Backstabber because its basically someone turning on there friend as her friend plots her death and then kills her.

Production company

Couple days ago i did the Ident logo for my media film but, i did have to ask my group if they liked it as well because they are part of my group. But we did decide on the same thing at the end of the day. So i decided to create it on livetype which was very easy to use.

Music

For our Thriller we have to get music so i signed up to Moby Gratis but it could take a couple of weeks before the music comes through but i have also looked at Newsground for music as they both specialise in giving non copyright music to students or people who are making films on a budget.

Todays Lesson

In todays lesson me and the group decided to do some filming, to see how it would come out when we started to film the actuall piece. While filming we noticed that there was a problem as the lighting isnt that good, because we it was too dark as we didnt think that we would have that problem. So another member in my group decided to bring a lamp in see if that would help in lighting the place up. But other than that little problem it did go well.
